When our team embarked on the development of Strange World, we drew inspiration from our cherished memories of playing RTS games on traditional computing platforms. Our aim was to bring that immersive experience into the realm of mobile gaming while incorporating elements from modern survival games. As a result, we set ourselves the ambitious goal of creating a unique hybrid game that deviated from conventional mobile game genres.

Our dedicated team designed innovative systems to bridge the gap between PC and mobile gaming. Countless prototypes were developed to ensure seamless RTS controls on mobile devices, culminating in an intuitive gesture-based control mechanic that faithfully captures the essence of traditional RTS gameplay on smartphones. We strived to remain faithful to the core principles of PC-based RTS games, such as simultaneous unit controls, resource management, and micro-management battle systems, while fusing them with contemporary survival game features like item crafting and meta-game upgrades.
